Ajax, ON
Ajax is a planned lakefront community named for the WWII HMS Ajax, with a tightly knit south-end waterfront, a fast-growing north end along Taunton, and a major transit advantage thanks to the Ajax GO station. Buyer demand is shaped by Toronto-commuter families who want detached homes within an hour of the city core.
Whitby, ON
Whitby balances mature lakeside neighbourhoods with the rapidly growing community of Brooklin to the north. Inventory ranges from postwar bungalows near downtown to new-build executive homes in Williamsburg and Brooklin, with strong demand from Toronto commuters drawn to GO Transit access and the Whitby Shores waterfront.
Oshawa, ON
Oshawa is Durham Region's largest city and its most accessible entry point — a university town built on automotive heritage that has reinvented itself around Ontario Tech, Trent Durham, and steady residential investment. The north end keeps producing new family communities while the lakefront and downtown core are seeing meaningful renewal.
Clarington, ON
Clarington stretches across Bowmanville, Courtice, Newcastle, and Orono — a municipality where suburban growth meets working farms and conservation lands. The Highway 418 extension and the planned GO Train extension east of Oshawa have pushed Clarington firmly into the GTA commuter belt.
Toronto, ON
Toronto is the centre of the GTA and the anchor every Durham buyer benchmarks against.
